Adjusting the Settings on your Brambl website

The Settings tab is where you can apply on page optimisation via the SEO area, and it's also where you control the elements that are present within the header area. We'll cover these now.

Brambl SEO

Brambl easily allows you to add on page SEO and link seamlessly to a Google Business Centre. Here's an overview of the options that are available.

1. Title

This is the Page Title. It makes sense to ensure that the Page Title is relevant to the content, as Google will index it. You can add a different Page Title  to each page that you are editing.

2. Favicon

Brambl allows you to quickly add a Favicon. The Favicon is the same on all pages.

3. Author

This is you, so add your business name here.

4. Description

Like with the Page Title, we'd recommend adding a relevant description of the page. The description of the page will show in search engines.

BRAMBL FAST FACT

Favicon is short for Favorite Icon. The Favicon is displayed in the browser tabs, in the browser history and browser favorites. Historically, the Favicon command was placed into the root directory and a useful outcome of this was that the number of visitors who have bookmarked the page could be estimated by the requests of the favicon from the root file. There is no reason now to add these, other than that they look pretty in your website browser tabs and bookmarks.

5. Keywords

This section is where you can add product or company keywords to the page. Like with the description, these should be relevant to the page.

6. Google Analytics ID

Once you have registered a Google Analytics Account, then you'll have access to their tools so that you can track the performance of the site amongst other parameters. Google Analytics give you a code, you just enter that here to link the account to your Brambl site.

7. Google Tag Manager

To use this feature you'll need to register a Google Tag Manager account. The Tag Manager field allows you to sync your Brambl site with the Tag Manager, which allows you to quickly change the tags in your website in real time.
